In terms of the range height vs the counter, Krispy assured my father things would be rectified, and right now it looks like they will remove the wood flooring that runs between the island cabinets, so that the range is level. The range leveling is important, as it has a glass top that must sit on the countertop with balanced precision, as stress on the glass could crack it.
